Bruegel Painting Discovered In Holburne Museum Storage Area Unveiled

The Holburne Museum in Bath has announced the UK’s first exhibition devoted to the Bruegel dynasty, including recent attributions for two paintings from the Museum’s own collection. Bruegel: Defining a Dynasty will unravel the complex Bruegel family tree, revealing the originality and diversity of Antwerp’s famous artistic dynasty.

Shortlisted Projects Unveiled for Lighting London’s Bridges

The six shortlisted proposals by international teams, representing seventy-three artists, architects, designers, planners and engineers from Asia, Europe, North America and South America will be unveiled on Wednesday 9 November in the Illuminated River Exhibition, a free exhibition running for three weeks at the Royal Festival Hall (RFH) until Tuesday 29 November.

Ai Weiwei Launches Major New York Gallery Exhibition

A new gallery show of the Chinese dissident artist Ai Weiwei 2016: Roots and Branches, has opened at Mary Boone Gallery in both its Fifth Avenue and Chelsea locations. The exhibition of recent works includes pieces in a variety of mediums – from ancient wood and porcelain to modern LEGO bricks, and wallpaper of the Artist’s design.
