The exhibition spans over a hundred years of collage-making, juxtaposing early experiments from the first decades of the 20th century with later technical and conceptual innovations produced by artists who found themselves operating at the dawn of the digital age in the 1970s and 1980s, through to works from the present day. It features works by Jean Arp, John Baldessari, André Breton, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Mark Flood, Jack Goldstein, Richard Hamilton, Ellsworth Kelly, Lee Krasner, Louise Lawler, René Magritte, Pablo Picasso, Sigmar Polke, Elizabeth Price, Richard Prince, Robert Rauschenberg, Kurt Schwitters and John Stezaker.
