Anish Kapoor is one of the most influential artists of his generation, with a practice combining sculpture, installation and works on paper. Kapoor has been exhibiting with Lisson Gallery since 1982, and this will be his sixteenth exhibition at the gallery. Later in the year, he will present his installation Descension, a perpetual black whirlpool, as part of the Public Art Fund’s 40th-anniversary celebrations in New York.
