Frieze And Frieze Masters Artlyst Chooses Their Top 20 Artworks 2016

Visitors to London during Frieze week will no doubt be in for art over-kill this year, with thousands of artworks, on hundreds of stands, housed in two ginormous plastic tents, in opposite parts of Regents Park London. Each year Artlyst runs around like a headless chicken in order to choose their favourite pieces. Here are the offerings in no specific order.

Each year Artlyst curates an indispensable information lyst covering the best exhibitions and events on offer during Frieze week.  Frieze and Frieze Masters promises to showcase an up to date overview of the current art market allowing art lovers to pay homage to the best (and some of the worst) in visual art.  Like Art Basel and Art Basel Miami, these fairs make no bones about being massive art trade shows. The galleries involved are there to sell and this year the main Frieze fair showcases 160 of the world’s leading contemporary art galleries. Whatever you do, don’t miss the smaller art fairs and events that are springing up like dandelions all around the capital this week.
