9. Yves Bouvier: Hyper Inflation
Yves Bouvier, a Swiss businessman and art dealer who also operates the world’s largest storage centres for art, located in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Singapore, is embroiled in one of the world’s biggest art scandals. Bouvier was arrested in Monaco in February as part of an investigation into fraud. The case focuses on several works purchased by Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, who claims Bouvier inflated or misrepresented prices by tens of millions of dollars.
