Privacy is non-existent in the world of Tracey Emin. The artist’s practice often focuses on sexual misadventures, heartbreak, masturbation, and childhood trauma, among other things that most people feel uncomfortable discussing. But the shockingly intimate nature of Emin’s work hasn’t overshadowed her unruly public appearances. Emin is only the second woman ever to be appointed professor at the Royal Academy, the artist’s career has produced some stark and ‘bare’ work.
