6. Chapman Brothers – F*ck Face, 1994
Jake and Dinos Chapman’s subject matter tries to be deliberately shocking, including, in 2008, a series of works that appropriated original watercolours by Adolf Hitler. But possibly none of the artists works are more offensive than their mutated child-mannequins, often nude and with facial features merged with genitalia. The Chapman’s sculpture ‘F*ck Face’, 1994, is definitely one such work, which continued the theme of anatomical and pornographic grotesquery with this truly offensive mannequin of a child with a penis for a nose, and a sphincter for a mouth.
