Cass Art Shuts

Cass Art has shut all of their stores leaving artists to scramble for supplies. All professionals and students looking to stock up on materials are now being referred to the Cass website to purchase items for home delivery.

Over the last few weeks we have seen an increased demand for creative products & supplies – Mark Cass

In a statement from the company today they wrote, ‘Over the last 35 years we have been serving the artistic community, both professional and hobbyist, encouraging young & old alike, to express their creativity and share it with the world.

Over the last few weeks we have seen an increased demand for creative products & supplies as people seek ways to explore their creativity from the safety of their homes. Whilst we have been heartened to see so many people turning to creativity to help navigate these unprecedented times, the health & safety of our staff and customers is of the utmost importance. We have therefore sadly decided to temporarily close all our stores until further notice.

Our online store will remain open. I would like to personally assure you that our warehouse in Milton Keynes has put in place strict safety measures to ensure all can stay safe at work and that all our products can be delivered to your chosen destination safely without any contact. With demand increasing, we ask for your patience with delivery times.

The situation is being monitored on a daily basis, but we will update you at every stage if our plans need to change. In the meantime, our thoughts go out to everybody affected and we offer thanks to all of those on the frontline working hard to keep our nation moving – from healthcare workers to delivery drivers. You are the heart and soul of this nation and we appreciate you.

Despite our store closures, our mission to ‘fill this town with artists’ will not stop. As a community now more than ever is the time to come together and share creative ideas & endeavours to help inspire and encourage each other. We will be doubling down on our efforts to share ideas for all age groups via our social platforms, using our creative staff and customers to help achieve this throughout this difficult time.

We are in this together and hopefully we will be welcoming you all back to our stores in the very near future.

Thank you for being so important to us and our mission. Please stay safe and look after each other.

With the warmest wishes to you all and your families,’

Mark Cass
