FIAC Paris Announces Autumn 2021 Exhibitor List And Programmes

FIAC

Despite current COVID restrictions, FIAC Paris has optimistically announced their 2021 exhibitors list plus the cultural programmes on offer this year. From October 21 to 24, for its 47th edition, FIAC will bring together over 160 galleries from 26 countries at the Grand Palais Ephémère and the Galerie Eiffel, which has been specifically installed for FIAC as an extension of the structure on the Champ-de-Mars.

The selection will include modern art, contemporary art, and design galleries, as well as editions, from France and other European countries, Great Britain, North and South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

FIAC pursues its engagement towards emerging galleries, notably through the Young Galleries Sector. The ten galleries selected—Bel Ami (Los Angeles), Chris Sharp Gallery (Los Angeles), Noah Klink (Berlin), Öktem Aykut (Istanbul), Dawid Radziszewski (Warsaw), Sans titre (2016) (Paris), Martina Simeti (Milano), Soft Opening (London), Sweetwater (Berlin), Weiss Falk (Basel)—will receive financial support of 50% of booth costs to contribute to their participation.

The physical fair will be enriched by the return of FIAC Online Viewing Rooms, powered by Artlogic, whose inaugural edition was enthusiastically received earlier this spring. Exhibitors presented at the Champ-de-Mars will be joined by a selection of 50 galleries that will exhibit exclusively online. The list will be announced shortly.

FIAC Hors les Murs exhibition: artworks and architectural projects will be presented in collaboration with the Domaine national du Louvre et des Tuileries at the Jardin des Tuileries.

The musée national Eugène Delacroix will feature an exhibition by Jean Claracq, curated by Claire Bessède (Director of the musée national Eugène Delacroix). The exhibition will create a dialogue between paintings by Eugène Delacroix around the theme of youth, and the œuvre of Jean Claracq, in collaboration with Galerie Sultana (Paris).

As every year, FIAC Hors les Murs will extend to Place Vendôme, and will be completed by the Conversation Room, a cycle of conferences, and the performance programme Parades for FIAC.
