The Fondation Maeght, France’s pioneering institution for Modern and Contemporary Art, will commemorate its sixtieth Anniversary in the summer of 2024. Designed by architect Silvio d’Ascia, the foundation’s new extension will house additional exhibition rooms, providing panoramic views of the valley beneath the Giacometti and Miró courtyards. The meticulous design, crafted with reverence for the site’s natural surroundings, reflects the foundation’s commitment to architectural integrity. Throughout June and July, the Fondation Maeght will host various events, culminating in a memorable concert reminiscent of its inaugural celebration in 1964.
