This prestigious accolade, bestowed by the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, underscores the RCA’s steadfast dedication to fostering innovation in artistic and design disciplines. The latest rankings reveal the RCA’s commanding position. With an impressive overall score of 98.5, it reaffirms its art and design education dominance. Joining the RCA at the forefront of the rankings is the University of the Arts London, which secured the second position. These UK-based institutions outshine major international counterparts, including prestigious American universities such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rhode Island School of Design, and Parsons School of Design and esteemed European institutions like Aalto University in Finland and Politecnico di Milano in Italy. Furthermore, the Royal College of Music is the top-ranked institution in the Performing Arts category.
