UAL Graduate Shows

Its time for the UAL Graduate Shows which is always one of the high points of the London Summer art season. UAL’s summer graduate shows are a celebration of all the hard work and fantastic creativity for the students. Since lockdown started, they’ve been working with technology partners, IBM, to find the best way to share the students’ work with the world. This year’s graduates want to recreate the buzz and excitement of coming to a UAL graduate show. The UAL Graduate Showcase allows people everywhere to enjoy the artistry and skill of these amazing students. There is work to enjoy from across the 6 world-famous Colleges.

This year, our graduating students have been challenged like never before

This platform offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the very best of emerging contemporary art and design practice. Students from more than 40 countries exhibit work of exceptional quality, imagination and technical skill. There are no admission charges to the digital exhibitions and much of the work is for sale or commission directly from the artists. Items range from paintings to prints, glassware to jewellery and furniture to textiles. Buyers have the opportunity to invest right at the beginning of an artist or designer’s professional career.

Use the link below to discover the creators, rebels and innovators of tomorrow in art, design, fashion, communication, media and performing arts. You can explore the work of thousands of UAL’s graduates in one curated space. You can view, interact with, and buy original work from around the world.

UAL’s galleries showcase work from emerging artists and designers. All of the galleries are free to visit, and many images can be sourced with a single click.

This year, the graduating students have been challenged like never before. From across the globe, they have responded with determination and ingenuity. With the world in flux, creative practice can imagine and deliver new ways of living. Here, the graduates show us what that future could be.

It’s not too late to join UAL this October.

We have a limited number of places available on some undergraduate courses now starting in October. If you haven’t secured a place, if you’ve changed your mind or perhaps you’ve not received the results you were hoping for, Clearing is an opportunity to find the right course for you.

This guide provides tips on how to apply through UCAS to join UAL this October, including information on the Clearing and Adjustment process.

If you have any questions about the Clearing process after reading this guide, you can email us at clearing@arts.ac.uk. Due to high volumes of enquiries, it may take up to 48 hours to receive reply.

You’ll also be able to chat to us online from 8am on results day (13 August) – just click ‘Chat with us’ in the right-hand corner of the page.

Our application process is not currently affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. However, UAL is following the latest advice from the Public Health England (PHE), the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), and the World Health Organisation (WHO). As the situation develops, we will continue to update our web pages, so we recommend that you check our website regularly for the latest advice and guidance.

If you’re an international student, you should make a direct application to UAL. Find a course with places available for international students and scroll to ‘How to apply’. We recommend applying early to give yourself sufficient time to organise your Tier 4 (General) visa and a secure English language test (SELT) if necessary.
