A major exhibition of new and recent work by Peter Doig.
Including paintings and works on paper created since the artist’s move from Trinidad to London in 2021, the exhibition will present an exciting new chapter in the career of one of the most celebrated and important painters working today. Doig is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s leading artists, known for his highly original figurative and immersive landscape paintings existing somewhere between real places and the imagination. In 2021 Doig moved back to London, where he has set up a new studio, which has become the catalyst for developing paintings started elsewhere which are being worked up alongside fresh paintings, which explore a rich variety of places, people, memories, and ways of painting.
