A Solo Show of New Works by Joseph Sakoilsky. Central to the creation of these new works are willful acts of chance combined with an aleatory, playful mark making, tones, colours, lines, forms in which landscapes and creatures seem to naturally arise.

Günther Förg’s works could be regarded as windows opening onto the history of Modern Art. Indeed, the artist somewhat reflects on its continuum, and sometimes even literally when he installed real mirrors in his shows. He revisits a pantheon of references ranging from Edvard Munch, Piet Mondrian and Paul Klee to Barnett Newman.

The artist’s specially created project for Freud’s final home relates to the era of the late 1930s when Freud left Vienna for London. A series of paintings on canvas, linen and paper take inspiration drawn from original pre-WW2 German magazines that Rubin has collected.

Laurie Simmons is one of the most significant artists of the past forty years and a pioneer of the critique of photographic imagery associated with the ‘Pictures Generation’ of the late 1970s and early ’80s in New York.
