Mark Wallinger Unveils Ecce Homo On St Paul’s Steps For Easter

Mark Wallinger the Turner Prize winning artist, has loaned ‘Ecce Homo’ the sculpture which first appeared on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square in 1999 to St Paul’s Cathedral. The work of art has been installed at the top of the west steps of the Cathedral.

Knoedler Gallery Rothko Forgery Case Settles With Casino Owner

Another of the mounting lawsuits in the worlds largest art forgery case, centring around the now-defunct Knoedler Gallery in New York has settled out of court. Seven of the 10 lawsuits involving the scandal have now come to agreements out of court. The Knoedler Gallery was one of the most respected galleries in the world and NY’s longest established.

Art Fund Announces Winners Of New Collecting Award programme

The £300,000 New Collecting Award programme winners have been announced by the Art Fund. The award invests in the development of promising curators. The successful projects include building a collection of cartographic material about forced migration to increasing the number of works by female artists.
