Breath is Invisible is a three-month public art project which includes works by Khadija Saye, who died in the blaze in June 2017.

A new public art project, Breath is Invisible (7 July – 9 October 2020), will be launched by the MP David Lammy in Notting Hill on Tuesday 7 July with an installation of works by Khadija Saye, the young Gambian-British artist who tragically lost her life in the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017, aged just 24.

Khadija Saye was amazingly talented, and her determination to study photography at university overcame challenging social conditions and an environment that could easily have held her back. I was lucky enough to have taught Khadija during her undergraduate studies 2010 – 13.

The British Photographer Khadija Saye has died aged 24.She has officially been confirmed as a Victim of the Grenfell Tower Block Fire which has so far claimed nearly 50 lives.
