Lady Frances Segelman Petchey FRSA, MRSS, known as Frances Segelman, is an internationally respected established artist, whose roll call of sitters includes most of The Royal Family and celebrities from the worlds of theatre, music, sport, politics and business. Most recently, Dame Judi Dench, for her 90th birthday, Dames Joan Collins and Joanna Lumley, Sir Derek Jacobi, Sir Simon Rattle, Nigel Mansell, Boris Johnson and Lord Blunkett are just some of her sitters.
Royal sitters include H.M. The King, the late Queen, the late Duke of Edinburgh, H.R.H. The Princess Royal, H.R.H. The Duke of Kent and H.R.H. The Duchess of Edinburgh.
This retrospective showcases 20 of Frances’ most recent busts, including The Royal Family and celebrities from the worlds of theatre, music, sport, politics and business. Other unseen works include figurative works in bronze and resin, charcoal life studies and diamond dust prints.
Frances is an inspiration to many artists and continues to teach sculpture. Her work is joined by that of Victoria Perloff and Josette Aitman.
Victoria Perloff is exhibiting 20 floral studies in jewel colours worked in acrylic, oil and pastel in her collection Botanical Blooms. Josette Aitman will be exhibiting recent works in ceramic, porcelain and mixed media from her collection Magic of Petals, including figurative sculpture, abstract ceramic floral studies and her books of magic – evocations of a magical world.
