Premiums Interim Projects provides an opportunity to see new work by 14 second-year students at the interim point of their postgraduate study at the Royal Academy Schools, the UK’s longest established art school. This year, the exhibition will include a range of media including painting, print and audio-visual work, with a particular focus on the discipline of sculpture and an increased interest in materiality.
Rebecca Salter, Keeper of the Royal Academy, said: “250 years ago the long-sighted founders of the Royal Academy placed the RA Schools at the very heart of the Academy. Premiums is an annual exhibition of the work by our second year students and reinforces this founding vision of a living Academy. The exhibition will offer visitors a unique insight into the way their practice is developing and the opportunity to experience some of the most exciting and innovative work being produced across diverse media by postgraduate students in the UK.”
The following artists will be exhibiting:
Daniel Burley, Débora Delmar, Lucas Dillon, Frances Drayson, Eva Gold, Rachel Jones, Sam Keelan, Richard Lockett, Ewan Macfarlane, Matilda Moors, Hamish Pearch, Glen Pudvine, Charley Vines and Jala Wahid.
