This year’s Sculpture in the City, the City of London’s annual public art programme set amongst iconic architectural landmarks, features 16 art works in the Square Mile. The outdoor exhibition will include works from internationally renowned artists including Paul McCarthy, Ryan Gander, Martin Creed and Mark Wallinger. Their work will be displayed amongst some of Britain’s most famous buildings, including The Leadenhall Building, also known as the ‘Cheesegrater’, and for the first time, the Lloyd’s building by Richard Rogers.
Tours will be held on 29 June between 12.30pm and 2pm, and on 30 June between 4.30pm and 6pm. Co-directors of Sculpture in the City, Stella Ioannou and Simon Glynn will introduce the public to the project and the great stories behind each artwork.
