Artlyst’s guide to the art fairs taking place across London this October, from Frieze and Frieze Masters to specialist fairs covering African, Asian, Latin American, contemporary, design and prints. Frieze London
14–18 October 2026
Regent’s Park
Frieze London returns with 172 galleries from 42 countries and regions, alongside new curated sections and gallery presentations. The invitation-only preview takes place on Wednesday 14 October, with public opening from Thursday 15 October

Frieze Masters 8–11 October
Frieze Masters runs alongside Frieze London, presenting art made before 2000 and bringing together specialist dealers and galleries covering art history across periods and cultures. The two fairs are around a 15-minute walk apart.

THE OTHER ART FAIR
8–11 October 2026
The Truman Brewery, Brick Lane
The Other Art Fair returns to Shoreditch with more than 135 independent artists, alongside installations, workshops, performances, DJs and food and drink. The opening night is Thursday 8 October, with the public programme continuing through Sunday.

MINOR ATTRACTIONS
13–17 October 2026
The Newman, Fitzrovia
Minor Attractions returns for its fourth edition, moving to The Newman in Fitzrovia. The fair brings together commercial galleries and not-for-profit spaces, with more than 75 exhibitors occupying rooms across the hotel. Its programme combines art with music, performance and nightlife.

PAD LONDON
13–18 October 2026
Berkeley Square, Mayfair
PAD London brings together historical and contemporary design, art and collectable objects in Berkeley Square. The fair focuses on modern and contemporary design alongside historical pieces, with international galleries presenting work across the decorative arts and design spectrum.

AFFORDABLE ART FAIR BATTERSEA
14–18 October 2026
Battersea Park
The autumn edition of Affordable Art Fair returns to Battersea with 116 contemporary galleries from 20 countries. The programme includes graduate presentations, works priced under £500, workshops and the large-scale installation House of Cards by Charles Inge.

1-54 CONTEMPORARY AFRICAN ART FAIR
15–18 October 2026
Somerset House
1-54 returns to Somerset House for its London edition, bringing together galleries specialising in contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora. The 2026 edition also focuses on Modernist artists from Africa and the diaspora.

FOCUS ART FAIR LONDON
15–18 October 2026
Saatchi Gallery
FOCUS London 2026 is dedicated to contemporary Asian art and the Asian diaspora. This year’s edition is themed Cultural Dialogue, bringing together galleries and artists from across Asia and presenting practices ranging from traditional materials and techniques to digital and AI-based work.

FAIR PLAY ART FAIR
15–18 October 2026
One Marylebone
A new artist-led fair bringing around 70 independent artists to One Marylebone. Artists are selected by an independent committee, with work sold directly by the artists. The fair also features performances, music, food, drink, and late-night programming.

The Chancery Rosewood, Grosvenor Square
London Invitational presents a tightly curated group of international galleries at The Chancery Rosewood. The 2026 edition includes galleries from London, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Miami, with Thursday reserved for invited guests.

PARAÍSO LATIN AMERICAN ART FAIR
15–18 October 2026
Ambika P3, Marylebone
A new fair dedicated to Latin American art, Paraíso launches with 22 international galleries and projects, alongside 11 artist proposals, video art, editions and publications, talks, performances and workshops. Mexico is the focus of its inaugural edition.

IMPRINT ART FAIR

A new fair centred on original printmaking, presented by the team behind Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. Galleries exhibit alongside independent artists, with the emphasis firmly on original prints rather than reproductions.

Frieze London: Hauser & Wirth brings together artists including Frank Bowling, Sonia Boyce and Thomas J Price alongside George Condo and Angel Otero, while Sprüth Magers centres its booth on Kara Walker and Cao Fei. At Frieze Masters, Hauser & Wirth highlights figures such as Max Beckmann, Georges Braque and Gabriele Münter, as Flora Yukhnovich unveils a new painting shown alongside Jan Brueghel the Elder’s ‘Still Life of Flowers in a Stoneware Vase’. Berry Campbell presents ‘Women of the 8th Street Club’, a group presentation of women artists central to Abstract Expressionism in postwar New York.

Around London: Hauser & Wirth debuts Cindy Sherman’s ‘Fabric Matrons’ series alongside new works by Lorna Simpson; Sprüth Magers presents new paintings by Lucy Dodd; David Zwirner shows Louis Fratino’s first London solo exhibition; Opera Gallery stages the first London solo exhibition of Fernando Botero since 2015; and Carpenters Workshop Gallery shows Vincent Dubourg, František Vízner and Anne Holtrop, plus DRIFT at Ladbroke Hall.
