Congratulations to Frank Bowling now Sir Richard Sheridan Franklin Bowling Kt ,OBE, RA, the Guyana-born British artist. His paintings relate to Abstract expressionism, Color Field painting and Lyrical Abstraction. The reality of Covid19 started to appear more on my radar towards the beginning of March. By the time the Armory Show happened with galleries flying in from different parts of the world to showcase artist’s work, the overall atmosphere at the fair felt clearly different from years past.
