A key figure in British art, Michael Craig-Martin is one of the most influential artists and teachers of his generation.
Tuesday–Sunday: 10am–6pm Friday: 10am–9pm
This Autumn, Cristea Roberts Gallery presents an exhibition of new work by Michael Craig-Martin, which sees the artist turn his attention to art from the past.
Tuesday - Friday: 11am - 5.30pm Saturday: 11am - 2pm
Sir Michael Craig-Martin has created a new work for an iconic site in London’s Oxford Street, which will be launched on Monday 29 June, presented by W1 Curates. The installation, Cornucopia Galactica, will run 24hrs a day until 12 July 2020.

In 1974 Michael Craig-Martin exhibited a work entitled An Oak Tree which, through the text alongside a glass of water displayed on a bathroom shelf, claimed that this work is an oak tree in the form of a glass of water. To make this claim Craig-Martin drew on Christian understandings of sacraments which are most fully realised in the Eucharist.
